Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) work with patients who have speech, language, voice, fluency, or swallowing speech pathologist disorders. They may work in hospitals or clinics, private practice, schools or universities, nursing homes, or research laboratories. They perform examinations, tests, and evaluations as well as provide treatment.

Identify and evaluate speech language disorders

Plan and direct therapy for speech impairments
