Women's Health / Weight Management

The P.T. Services Women's Clinic is staffed by female therapists who have received specialized training in the areas of women's health and who are committed to providing therapy services in an atmosphere of professionalism and confidentiality.

One of the most important, and often overlooked aspects in looking good is feeling good. Women who are healthy, who exercise and eat right, know that feeling good and looking good go hand in hand. Yet, many women suffer with health problems they are reluctant to discuss, even with their physician. Our goal is to aid you in achieving your health and fitness goals through diet, exercise and education.

Industrial Rehabilitation

In the past 10 years there has been a recognized need to assist in the rehabilitation of industry's most valuable asset - its workers. P.T. Services treats workers as "Industrial Athletes", preparing them for safe, transitional return to work. In applying the industrial athlete concept, P.T. Services can aggressively address injury and claim prevention through education, biomechanics, behavior modification, ergonomics, pre-work conditioning and work simulation activities. By acting as liaisons between the worker, their company, their physician and their case managers, our therapists are able to focus on comprehensive, cost effective outcomes that ensure the highest quality of rehabilitative services.

The IMPACC Program
Despite increasing awareness to workplace injury, costs for lost time and injury cases continues to mount. Cases of work related injuries and cumulative trauma disorders to include tendonitis, carpal tunnel syndrome and neck/back injuries have escalated to near epidemic proportions. The Injury Management Prevention and Cost Containment (IMPACC) Program can be a valuable tool in the management of industrial injuries. IMPACC is a proactive rather that a reactive program designed to reduce injury claims, meet OSHA ergonomic guidelines and reduce cost to industry through a 5-step program that can be custom designed to meet the company's individual needs.

Industrial Rehabilitation Services Include:

  • Acute and Chronic Physical and Occupational Therapy
  • Work Simulation/Work Hardening/Conditioning Programs
  • Custom Designed Transitional Return to Work Programs
  • Ergonomics and Job-Site Analysis
  • Functional Capacity Evaluation
  • Post Office/Pre Placement Screens and Pre-Work Screens
  • Corporate Wellness and Industrial Fitness Programs
  • On-site Therapy Services
  • The IMPACC Program
  • Occupational Health Management Policies & Procedures (Design & Implementation)
